20+ Ways To Earn $ 100 Every Day Online [2020]

20+ Ways To Earn $ 100 Every Day Online [2020]

I've been a financial advisor and entrepreneur for many years, and I've had some great successes along the way. On the days when I get a big payday or one of my ideas works well, it's hard not to feel completely overwhelmed with pride.

Still, none of my past successes compare to the first day I made $ 100 online in a 24-hour period. Something about getting a $ 100 check from Google left me speechless, even though I was earning more than six figures in my career.

It was a game-changing moment for me as this understanding helped me begin this amazing online journey for which I am so grateful.

21 ways to earn 100 or more online in a single day

Although it's been a long time since I had my first $ 100 online payday, I've since learned about a ton of different strategies for making money online. And I want to share them all with you, one by one. But first, let me give you a little context about me and my story.

About ten years ago, I started a blog called Good Financial Cents. While my website generates tons of passive income now, I initially created my blog as a marketing tool for my financial planning practice.

At the time, I didn't know anything about online marketing, social media, or SEO. In fact, he ignored the fact that you could earn money online. Fortunately, I met some mentors along the way who showed me that I could use my online presence to earn real money.

This was such a big change of mind for me that, until then, the only way I knew how to make money was to go out and get more clients. I didn't know at the time, but would eventually replace my full-time job with just blogging.

Now that you know my backstory, it's time to dig into some of the ways you can start earning passive or active income with the Internet. If you are interested in making money online and in your spare time, check out these 21 ways you can earn $ 100 or more per day:

# 1: Google Adsense

When I started my blog, I faced many restrictions as a financial advisor. As a result, one of the only ways you could monetize at the time was through the use of Google Adsense. With this income strategy, you simply register and Google gives you a code to copy and paste on your website. From there, Google does the rest and gets paid every time someone clicks on your ads and/or makes a purchase.

When I finally added Google Adsense to my website, I was able to earn my first $ 100 payment in about three months. This is great, but many people have asked me how I gained so much with Adsense at the beginning.

You should be aware that as a financial advisor, most of the ads on my website are for financial products that pay quite well. If your blog is in a different niche, like food or fashion, it may take longer for your ads to pay off with your first $ 100 check.

# 2: text links

The second way I made $ 100 at first was through text links. If you're wondering what text links are, check out any article on the web and you will see highlighted words that you can click to go to another web page.

While I didn't realize it for quite some time, there are plenty of companies that are willing to pay $ 100, $ 200, and even $ 1,000 or more to link from their website to theirs. But I was pretty excited when some companies paid me $ 100 or more just to insert a link in one of my blog posts.

Unfortunately, I eventually learned that selling text links run counter to Google's terms and conditions. If you are doing this consistently, your website is going to stagnate in the long run.

For that reason, selling text links is not a good long-term monetization strategy. You can do it once in a while without any negative impact, but you will live to regret it if you become greedy and exceed yourself.

# 3: sponsored posts

With a sponsored post, a company pays you to talk about their product or service on its website. While I initially earned $ 100 to $ 200 for each sponsored post I made on Good Financial Cents, I continued to increase my rates over time.

How much can you earn FITnancials blogger Alexis Schroeder says she frequently earns $ 3,000 a month with sponsored posts. However, some blogs with more traffic can easily earn $ 20,000 per sponsored post or more.

If you plan on doing sponsored posts, I definitely recommend working only with companies you believe in and feel good about promoting. If you promote something and everything without making sure it aligns with your values, you probably won't gain much trust from your readers. Over time, this could undermine your efforts to grow your website more than sponsored ad revenue helps.

# 4: affiliate marketing

Affiliate marketing is one of the most lucrative ways to make money online. When I was able to add affiliate links to my website, I saw my income increase greatly in a matter of weeks!

In the financial planning niche, affiliates include companies like online brokers, online banks, and financial tools. These types of companies pay very good money if you are willing to promote them.

While the type of affiliates you work with will vary depending on the niche you're in, keep in mind that some companies will pay you up to $ 100 per conversion. It is not too difficult to start earning real money with that kind of return on your time.

If you don't believe me, check out Making Sense of Cents. Michelle Schroeder-Gardner is the businesswoman behind this blog, and she is also the founder of a course called Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing. Through her website and course sales, Michelle consistently earns more than $ 100,000 per month. No, that is not a mistake.

# 5: display ads

Graphic ads are very similar to Google Adsense, except that the reader does not have to click on the ad to earn money. Think of graphic ads as billboards that are on your website rather than on the side of the road.

With graphic ads, you are paid based on the number of times your ads are seen, no matter what. For that reason, these ads will work best for you as traffic to your website grows over time.

# 6: Freelance Writing

Freelance writing is another way to earn income online if you don't mind earning some of your money from active work. Another benefit of freelance writing is that you can gain exposure by writing for larger websites.

One of the first websites I wrote for paid me $ 150 per article. It wasn't a lot of money, but I took the opportunity to improve my writing skills and make my name known. I don't write as much for other people anymore, but I do know many freelance writers who make $ 250, $ 500, and even $ 1,000 or more per article.

Some freelance writers I know are even earning six or more figures writing from home each year. This includes blogger Holly Johnson, who makes over $ 200,000 a year writing articles for other websites. Johnson also offers a course that you can review if you want to become a freelance writer but need help getting started.

# 7: Obtaining new clients for your business

When I started my blog, I envisioned my website as a marketing tool to gain new clients for planning my financial practice. This strategy worked very well as my online presence helped me build authority and reach people I otherwise would not have reached.

If you have a service-based business of any kind, I would suggest that you start a blog or create an online presence that you can use to gain new customers. This can help you build your customer base just like I did, and it's much more fun than cold calling or boring seminars.

# 8: Coaching

If you have experience in a specific field, you can also use the Internet to develop a coaching business. This is something that happened by accident to me. As I built my blog and brand, a lot of people started contacting me to find out how I did it and how they could apply the same ideas to their own business. While I initially gave a free tip because I enjoyed it, I eventually started charging a consulting fee.

The amount you earn depends on the type of niche you end up in. According to recent statistics, executive coaches earn around $ 325 an hour, while business coaches earn more than $ 235 an hour. Life coaches, on the other hand, can charge about $ 160 an hour.

If you are an expert in your field and people constantly ask you to "pick your brain," you should start charging people. Your time is valuable and so is your advice!

# 9: selling products

Once I was with Good Financial Cents for a few years, I started a second website called Life Insurance by Jeff. While we initially started this website to create our own leads, we got to the point where we had so many leads that we couldn't handle them ourselves.

Eventually, I discovered that a handful of insurance companies were willing to pay for the leads generated through my website. These companies would pay between $ 35 and $ 100 for lead, which is crazy. This was a great revelation to me since I had no idea that this was possible.

Also, keep in mind that not only life insurance companies are willing to pay for potential clients. There are a lot of different paths and lead generation strategies, so be sure to consider all the possibilities.

# 10: Digital Products

There are all kinds of digital products, but there is always room for more. I even have some of my own!

If you sign up for my free Make 1K Challenge, where I show you how to start a blog and make your first $ 1,000, for example, I have a $ 7 update that includes some PDFs and behind-the-scenes videos. While $ 7 doesn't sound like much money, this product still helps me earn additional liabilities of $ 1,500 to $ 2,000 per month!

Another example of digital products is the wide world of printables. Many online entrepreneurs create digital products that their customers can print at home, and often have the bank do it. While many bloggers have their own printable budget templates, meal plans, or checklists, you can also find examples on Etsy.com.

# 11: Online courses

I've talked about my digital products before, but be aware that you can make almost digital products on your own. It can be a PDF, a series of videos, or a course, whatever you think fits in with your business model. Just keep in mind that you need to deliver the products and make sure your product is of high quality. If you sell junk just to make money, you're going to lose credibility on the street pretty quickly.

In a post I wrote about how much YouTubers actually earn, I shared how some YouTube stars have their own courses. For example, famous real estate YouTuber Graham Stephan earns a ton of cash selling real estate courses through his Real Estate Agent Academy. How do you earn so much? His courses start at $ 497 each. That is just one example, but there are many others.

# 12: investment earnings

Like anyone, you can set up an online brokerage account and buy ETFs or stocks. I have been able to earn at least $ 100 a day from my investments for a long time, and this income is one of my favorites, as it is completely passive.

Keep in mind that it is crucial to have traditional investments in addition to an online business that can help you accumulate passive income. Just open an account with Scottrade, TD Ameritrade, or another online brokerage agency and you're ready to go.

There are so many ways to invest online these days that there is literally no excuse not to. I am tired of excuses, so start investing your money to increase long-term wealth today. #Pull over

# 13: peer loans

I have been making money with peer loans for a long time. With websites like Lending Club, borrowers and investors can connect for mutually beneficial financial transactions. On the investment side, you can invest in crowdfunding loans for people who need to borrow money across the United States. Returns tend to be high on these loans, and you can use these platforms to generate more passive income for yourself while helping someone.

What peer-to-peer lending platforms should you enroll in? David Galland of Gallan Research went deep into each option a few years ago. Finally, he said that the best peer-to-peer platforms for investors were Lending Club, Prosper, Upstart, and Funding Circle.

# 14: Crowdfunded Real Estate Investment

There are many real estate investment websites, but the one I still use to this day is Fundrise.com. With Fundrise, you add money to your account, and professional investors will invest your money on your behalf and pay you dividends. If you want to invest in real estate without the practical hassles of owning, this is a great way to start with as little as $ 500.

# 15: sponsored social actions

Like sponsored blog posts, sponsored social actions to take place when a company pays you to post about them on social media. This could be on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or any other social media platform.

I don't do much of this, but my wife gets paid some money to post photos and talk about things like furniture, rugs, and children's clothing. It's almost funny to me how much money you can earn, and it's amazing the kind of things people will pay for!

# 16: Sell things online

Another way my wife makes money all the time is by selling things online. She usually sells our stuff online through different Facebook groups. For example, we just sold this log cabin that someone gave him for free as part of a social media sponsorship.

If you have items to sell and don't mind spending time creating free ads on Facebook or on a website like craigslist.org, selling things is a great way to use the Internet to earn more money.

# 17: Sell a physical product

In the past, my wife and one of her business partners had a subscription box product called Happy Mommy Box. They had 1,000 customers paying $ 35 a month for these cute boxes full of products that happy moms love.

Finally, she was overwhelmed by everything and she and her partner decided to close the business. However, this only shows what kind of opportunity there is.

For example, several popular YouTubers have their own stores that they use to sell physical products. Jeffree Star sells makeup, for example, and Jake Paul sells all kinds of fan gear through his online store. You can also head over to Etsy.com and find all kinds of entrepreneurs selling homemade soaps, unique home decor, t-shirts, and just about anything else you can think of.

The bottom line: Physical products can help you make real money, too, so be sure to explore the different products you could sell. This could mean dropshipping products that you market as an affiliate, but it could also mean creating your own product to sell.

# 18: YouTube Ads

Although I used YouTube in 2011, I didn't even turn on the ads until 2017. When I finally turned them on, I started earning $ 5,000 for $ 6,000 per month!

YouTube ads are easy because all you have to do is activate the ads every time you post a video. Obviously, you will make more money from this strategy as your audience increases.

# 19: Buying and selling websites

People buy and sell websites all the time for a variety of reasons. And, if you know what to look for, it's easy to buy websites that can help you earn passive income over time.

Personally, I have purchased multiple sites over the years, including FinanceforTeachers.com. I haven't done anything with the site since I bought it a year ago, but it still helps me earn $ 100 to $ 150 per month effortlessly.

For websites and URLs currently for sale, go to Flippa.com.

# 20: brand sponsorships

This strategy runs alongside sponsored posts but is much more complicated. Many brands want more than a sponsored post when they work with you. In fact, they are often willing to pay for some form of sponsorship package that includes written content, videos, social actions, and more.

I've done some of these over the years, and they can be very lucrative but also a great pain! But, if you are willing to jump over some obstacles and have a considerable number of followers, you can absolutely consider brand sponsorships as yet another way to make money online.

# 21: book or ebook

Finally, you can also consider writing a book. I wrote a book called Soldier of Finance several years ago, but I am still selling copies to this day. The growth of my YouTube channel has been a big part of that, for which I am eternally grateful.

The great thing about a book or eBook is that once it's available, you can keep selling it over and over again. Also, you can write a book on any topic you want! If you're interested in a topic, hobby, or idea, other people are likely to be, too.

The bottom line

While these are some of the ways you can earn money online, this list is not all-inclusive. We're not talking about Facebook ads, retail arbitration, membership groups, or a bunch of other strategies!

If you need to make more money, remember to think of all the different ways you can make money online. Even if most of these strategies don't seem like fun to you, chances are one of these ideas is perfect for your lifestyle and goals. Start earning money online and I guarantee you won't regret it.
